John C. Penberthy
John C. Penberthy, III is as a principal in Penberthy & Penberthy, P.C. in Marlton, N.J. His practice has focused on Domestic Relations/Family Practice, Real Estate, general business, and finance matters.
Mr. Penberthy received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina, cum laude, and his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars and is active in the American Bar Association (Business Law Section), where he was chairman of the Consumer Bankruptcy Subsection Committee from 2002-2005. He also participates in the Burlington County Bar Association's Family Law, Real Estate and Probate subcommittees as well as the Marlton, New Jersey chapter of Rotary International.
Mr. Penberthy is a faculty member for Real Estate for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. He has written extensively on varied subjects such as: Lender Liability, Franchising, Consumer finance, Retirement Benefit Loans, Truth in Lending, Unfair Competition, Tax Liens, Environmental and Banking issues.
